Tree Trust’s Business Advisory Council (BAC) will be having its first meeting of 2017 on Wednesday, January 25 and the BAC is always looking for new members to join the council! Representatives from a wide variety of organizations join us for quarterly meetings. Some of our current council member include representatives from Arc’s Value Village, MN Department of Labor, Luther Auto, North Central States Regional Council of Carpenters, MN DEED, and Marshall Manufacturing.
What is the Business Advisory Council?
The BAC is a gathering of stakeholders for the purposes of steering programming at Tree Trust. These individuals work, or have an interest, in fields related to the mission of Tree Trust and have a stake in Tree Trust’s success. These stakeholders include employers, other nonprofits, institutions, municipalities, trade unions and any individual, or representative with an interest in youth and young adult employment and education programming.
The objective is to keep our offerings current, effective and impactful, by drawing on the experience and expertise of industry professionals. The council members consult with staff on a variety of topics including program development, career navigation and job placement.
Thank you to our current council members for their longstanding support of Tree Trust! If you would like to join the BAC or get more information, please contact Outreach Coordinator Hannah Maertz.
