Career Pathways
By equipping participants with training and hands-on experience,
Tree Trust Career Pathways offers promising young people the
opportunity to build sustainable and meaningful careers.
Tree Trust has mentored more than 55,000 individuals through our employment training programs with the vision of creating a thriving workforce living on a healthy planet. We offer a variety of in-demand green and skilled trade career pathways opportunities from entry-level experiences with certificates to pre-apprenticeship programs with industry-recognized credentials. Across many Tree Trust programs, young people, ages 14-28, develop valuable skills and earn a wage while making our community a greener, healthier place to live through completing projects. With Tree Trust’s more than 45-year history of providing paid work experience, participants belong to a supportive team that includes valuable mentoring, resume-building opportunities, and assistance connecting with future employers.
At Tree Trust, as one of our core focus areas, we equip people to achieve family-supporting, skilled trade, green careers to create economic opportunity and equity.

after this program, and I want
to do the summer program again!”—Addie, Career Pathways
“Tree Trust does a wonderful job of modeling what you need to be a successful employee. The supervisors have a good expectation of you. They don’t hold your hand. They let you experience what a real-life supervisor would want of you.”
—Andy, Career Pathways
“My crew members and I learned to work together and form trusting friendships. This positive environment makes me believe that Tree Trust is a great place to work and makes me want to come back.”
—Crew Member, Summer Youth Employment Program

paths and opportunities for me.
They taught me responsibility.”-Moeriyah, Tree Trust YouthBuild
